In this article we are going to talk about the different social media platforms. Now I told you  that social networking sites are not all the social media platforms out there. Then we have a virtual game world, now which are very famous actually you must have seen the craze of pubg and a lot of other gaming setup where you can communicate with the fellow game players and there are these different community is also present which organized events for these gaming platforms and you know where there is opportunity to actually earn as well. There are these online magazines  and we have this question answer platform like Quora, Reddit which we have talked about in previous article.  These are under the collaborative projects because the lot of people are collaborating and their moderators and administrators in between what checking the quality of questions and checking the quality of posting then we have the Wikipedia as well  it’s called wikki because  it’s collaborative in nature when a people can edit more information to Wikipedia. So, where we can read and consume and then we can engage with the content by commenting by sharing, by filling of the forms on the websites, by signing up to get a PDF downloaded  anything that we can do so again it’s a kind of social media platforms in reality. Content communities like YouTube. YouTube is actually an SEO platform basically it’s again search engine for videos that is why I it’s called content communities because there is a channel where you can create playlist and then you can comment on those videos as well you can seek information from the description of the videos that links that can be added and you can engage with the video creator of the channel owner. This is a kind of different social media platforms.

Social networking websites

After that then we have social networking website which already know about Facebook  LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest. Twitter we have already covered into the microblogs section, I am not putting in WhatsApp here because WhatsApp is also formed by Facebook just like Instagram. 

WhatsApp is not social networking website it’s a personal app where you can connect with one another based on the phone numbers that you have saved. These are the social networking sites that you can learn from these platforms as well as you can use them for marketing your own business. This is a kind of one of the most different social media platforms.

Virtual Game worlds

After that then we have virtual game worlds. I already talked about this like pubg, there was the most famous world of Warcraft and there are others as well available to you can just check about them. That also comes into social media platform because people communicate there as well.
